FAQs

This is a compilation of a few questions we are often asked, If you have other questions, PLEASE ask us! We are happy to answer them. We simply want to provide a beautiful location for your wedding, without making you jump through hoops and abundant limitations to get there!

 

Do you charge extra for electricity, lighting, time for a rehearsal, tables, etc? 

No –  electricity and standard overhead/ambiance/outdoor lighting are all INCLUDED in your rental fee. (If you desire specialty lighting, that is something you can arrange with a lighting specialist) Also INCLUDED  in your rental fee you get a 3 hour window the night before your wedding for a rehearsal. Also INCLUDED, we provide tables and chairs for 50 guests. If more are needed, you will need to rent them from a vendor.  As you can see, and as many brides have told us, we include lots of extras at no extra charge. Can we choose our own vendors or must we select from a list?

You may choose the vendors of your choice….this is YOUR day. That being said, we do provide a list of vendors that we recommend because we know that they do a great job, but you are not limited to that selection.

 

Do you offer a place for the bride/groom to get ready?  Is there an extra charge to use those facilities?

Yes and No. We do have a Bridal Cottage for the bride and ‘her crew’ to gather, chat, get ready, laugh, cry and all that other fun stuff before the ceremony! This will be completed by the end of Summer 2017. And, NO, there is no additional fee to use this. You will have access to this for the entire time that you have the venue property.   We do have future plans to have a Cabin for the Groom and the guys to hang out and get ready but unfortunately this will not be until possibly sometime in late 2018.

 

How can I stay updated on your construction as you build and grow? 

The best way to do this is to follow us on Facebook or Instagram. We often share photos and updates as things take shape around here! (and lots of gorgeous sunsets make their way into our photos as well!)

 

Do you provide handicap accessible restrooms? 

Yes! Both of our restrooms are equipped with ramps.

 

Do you have overnight lodging on-site or nearby?

We do not provide any overnight lodging on-site. However, there are numerous hotels and motels within 20 minutes of Redbird Ridge. You can find a list of these on the ‘Where To Find Us” page.

 

Can we have a food truck serve food instead of a caterer? 

Sure! We have an area adjacent to the pavilion where a food truck can park for easy accessability.

 

Can I visit Redbird Ridge?
